The SOHN Hearts and Minds Conference has raised over $30 million for medical research since 2016, and TDM were again proud to be invited to pitch our best investment idea at this year’s event virtual conference.

In true TDM style, we re-pitched Spotify (SPOT:NYSE), having pitched it in 2019. A lot has changed since then, but our belief that Spotify will become one of the leading internet consumer businesses of our generation has only grown since then. Below is the video of Hamish’s full virtual presentation, where he pitches our 11 minute investment thesis in with energy and intelligence.
Sit back and enjoy!

The SOHN  listed investment company (ASX:HM1), provides retail investors access to a concentrated portfolio of the high conviction investment ideas to emanate from the Australian funds management community. All stocks that are pitched at  the conference are allocated to become 35% of HM1’s portfolio (until the next conference), while the other 65% of the HM1 portfolio is managed at the recommendation of the fund’s Core Managers.

TDM Growth Partners has now been a Core Fund Manager of HM1 for over 18 months, We are thrilled to be able to donate our management fee back to medical research via the TDM Foundation each year. We recently published a blog with why SOHN is so important to us as a business and a brief description of the research institutes we donated to in the last financial year.

This year’s conference featured a key note from Charlie Munger, who we have admired for many, many years.

Next year’s conference is already set for Hobart, Tasmania, with tickets already on sale for the 18th of November, 2022 event
